Welcome to Middletown/Newport Football & Cheerleading. Our organization is an affiliate of the national Pop Warner program.
Registration for the 2023 Season is OPEN! Click on Available Programs on the banner above to begin registration.
Save $25 per family account if you register before July 1st.
Payment plans end August 1st.
Registrations must be complete (paid with paperwork uploaded) by August 1st to participate.
What will be needed to register?
Note: forms can be found on the home page of this website or within the registration process.
- Parent/Participant Contract: Signed by both parent and participant.
- Medical Physical Form: Requires a signed form from a Licensed State Medical Practitioner dated after Jan. 1st of the current season/year stating the candidate is physically fit and has no observable issues that would contra-indicate being involved in cheer/football.
- Proof of Age- New Participants: A certified copy of the birth certificate on file bearing the seal of the issuing office of the state of birth, passport, military ID, etc, used to verify the participant's age.
- Scholastic Fitness: Full 'End of the Year' report card. Proof of satisfactory progress in school is required showing a 2.0/70% or equivalent minimum grade point average to participate
- Upload a head shot photo of your participant.

Financial aid is available. Financial Aid form is on the homepage of this website.
Contact us at [email protected] to request financial assistance. You must complete the financial aid form and provide documented proof of state aid or unemployment. Financial aid recipients are required to give back 4 hours of volunteer time throughout the season at home games.
Volunteers are always needed for home games - concession, field and practice days. Even a small amount of your time is appreciated. Lots of different ways you can help- Please reach out and support the kids!
